The Parent activity type performs two main functions. First, it enables you to organize complex timelines by separating it into different segments. But, more importantly, it also enables you to implement looping features that make approvals easier to configure and manage, or to restart approvals when resubmission is requested. In this simulation, we’ll create and configure a Parent activity along with a few child activities, then we’ll configure the Parent activity to implement an approval loop, which is the most common use case for this activity type.
